Very Nice 24 April 2010

I was very pleased with this set of postcards. Physically, they are fairly large and glossy for postcards, very nice quality. They have been easy enough to detach from the book as well. No duplicates, each postcard is a unique one.

They are plenty amusing, and there are some very old, old-fashioned ads as well as some more recent ones from the 1970's.

There are a couple racy ones, but for the most part the ads are clean, and there are plenty safe ones you can send to your grandparents as well as the ones to send to your roommate's or friends to laugh over.

A couple are even endearing; I found the telephone company ad to be sweet rather than outrightly sexist.

If you liked the cover, there is a postcard of it inside.
Entertaining! 8 April 2007

I was looking for light-hearted postcards to send to my girlfriends; and these are perfect! It's funny to see how ridiculous ads used to be!

i feel 50/50 about these 10 Oct 2007

I enjoyed the ads from the fifties, but the second half were of the sixties, with the influence of that time, and nothing I can send out to girlfriends. Guess I didn't care for the image of women in the mid1960s. You might like it.
