Format:Audio CD
I heard a track from this album on Radio 3's Late Junction in May 2010. I was immediately struck by the subtle beauty of the music and the quality and tastefulness of the performers. This is jazz that is tuneful, catchy and easy to access. All the tracks are short and highly melodic and the overall mood is very chilled. Almost everyone I've played this to has fallen in love with it, from my 10 year old son to jazz buffs. In my opinion this special recording deserves to become a jazz classic.
This music makes me think of Keith Jarrett, Eberhard Weber and even Donald Fagen without being a pastiche of any of them.
