Amazing!!Brilliant!! Awesome!! Funny!! Inspiritational!!! I could go on and on. This has to be the best book I have ever read in the "self help" category, (for want of a better term!) and I've read a few. Really made me sit up and start to do something. Michael has a knack of making me laugh and think at the same time. I am putting his ideas into action and they are working!!! I would highly recommend this to anybody, who is serious about making changes to their life and getting what they want!!

Michael's book is not one you "read", it's one to be "experienced". Before reading it, I wouldn't have believed there was anything really innovative left to say when it comes to goal setting and self-coaching, but every page of this book surprised me. I was very disappointed to finish it and envy anyone who has yet to read it.

Together with Mark Forster's excellent "Do It Tomorrow" which I happened to have finsihed immediately before Michael's book, I reckon I now know how to stop beating nyself up and start enjoying the journey which is, after all, what it's all about. Watch out for Michael's "thinking big" challenge, like much of the rest of this book, it turns conventional wisdom on its head with exciting results. I was tingling all over at the very prospect and have put my first two items into action today.

Massive success! Here I come.

This is an excellent book.

Michael has a pragmatic approach, and does not try to dictate what you should do with your life. Instead he questions your assumptions and gets you to challenge the way you see your world so that you can open up your mind to not only realise your goals but also to stretch the boundaries of those goals.

The second part of the book tackles the excuses we have all used with ourselves for not doing what we really want to do. Michael has clearly heard all the 'ah! but' excuses you could possibly come up with and deals with each of them individually.

He has a great knack for making it all fun.

I started reading late on the night I bought it and ended up staying up for hours until I'd finished the first section of the book. Wow! And I mean, Wow! I finally put the book down in the wee hours of the morning.

There are several easy, useful and enlightening exercises within and above all it is easy. Easy to read, easy to understand, no jargon, lots of metaphors, simple ideas which are easy to grasp. It's written using NLP skills, hypnotic language and lots of Michael's light-hearted, affable, humorous, non-judgemental personality. It gets to the heart of the matter very quickly.

It is the kind of book you almost want to race through, you want to read everything because so much resonates so quickly and then towards the end you slow down because you don't want to finish. Once you're finished you put it down and go about your life as normal, only it's not, (normal that is, not that there's such a thing as normal but you know what I mean) and you realise that you feel more motivated, energised and confident but the beauty of it is that it's not a big explosion, it's subtle change and it's elegant and totally capable of becoming the norm in your life. For all the subtlety it's no less powerful.

After a motivational/self-help seminar you may feel psyched and invincible, after reading this book you know that your limitations have shrivelled into completely manageable bite size pieces. Now, a few weeks after reading it, the effects are still here and completely integrated into my life.

Loved it!

New to NLP and not in the coaching profession, I read this book after enjoying Michael Neill's training at a recent NLP course from Paul McKenna Training - Michael has coached Paul and I'd say he was pretty successful....

The book is exactly how he trains: with stories, with fun and with love. This guy really enjoys what he does and it comes across in his work and his writing. Some of the NLP techniques can seem a bit weird, depending on your point of view. Michael Neill's book is easy to read and follow, with some great examples that you can translate into your own life. He makes all of it make sense so that you want to practice until you have as much fun as he does! Definitely worth buying if you want to improve your life in any way, shape or form.

I have to be honest, when I was reading this book I wasnt really blown away - I felt like I had read/heard it all before. Yes - some parts made very good sense and did make me feel energised but a lot of it felt like the usual self help stuff that sounds a great idea but isnt so easy to put into practice. Near the beginning of the book, the author said that it doesnt matter if you dont do all the exercises, because just reading it will have a major effect on your subconscious. Well - this book did just that! I have suffered from anxiety, paranoia and depression for the past 10 years (I'm 26) and after reading this book I noticed things starting to change. I am now much calmer in social situations, I feel stronger in my relationship and in my life. My fiance commented that I seemed different the other day, that he no longer felt I was clingy or dependent and I have to put it down to this amazing book. I can't explain it but it definately works!!
