While the questions posed about refereeing decisions are fascinating and a good point for discussion, this just isn't practically useful as a calendar. In fact, the calendar aspect seems to be put in as almost an afterthought. The only reference to the date on each page is in the bottom right hand corner in quite small writing with just the month and number e.g. "January 7th" it does not include a day of the week or year, which leads me to think that rather than this being a 2010 calendar it is a general purpose calendar for any year. It would take a minor adjustment in design to make this a functioning, useful page-a-day calendar.

This is a great present for Football Fans of all ages. Well produced and presented, excellent illustrations from the Master Trevillion, thought provoking questions from Keith Hackett for fans, players and referees. Also, a great nostalgic glow for those who have followed this classic cartoon strip from "Shoot" to more recently "The Observer"
