Format:DVD
Does a film need to win awards and have a "buzz" around it to be considered good? Not for me! Sometimes the best films are those unexpected ones that do not get much publicity, do not require much thinking and do not win any awards but just happen to be little gems!
"You Again" is a funny comedy, quite like The Proposal. It never takes itself too seriously and you can tell the cast really had a ball making the film. Kristen Bell is a superb actress and has really good comedic timing which works well in this film. Odette Yustman plays the "enemy" well and acts really well against Kristen Bell. Both Sigourney Weaver and Jamie Lee Curtis play their parts very well (including a few athletic dance moments by the latter). Betty White is fantastic as ever!
It is a bit predictable and there are some issues with the plot (particularly towards the end) that could have been better but for a lazy night in with a dvd (and not much in depth analysis of the film) this is a great choice!

Format:Blu-ray
Marni (Kristen Bell), whose initials are MOO, has finally made it to the big time in advertising. Who would suspect that in just a short period of time Marni will meet her high school nemesis and find out that their soon-to-be sisters-in-law?
I'm sure you recognize the formula however they added a new twist which is three generations of the same problem in the same family. Naturally it is well played out yet the story drags a bit in the middle.
No one actor pulls the story out of the fire yet you will really appreciate Betty White at her best as Grandma Bunny.
I did not recognize some of the actors at first such as Odette Annable. But I did recognize Victor Garber as the actor that well played John Dickinson in "Liberty! The American Revolution" (TV mini-series).

Not working
Looking forward to watching this while I did the ironing, unfortunatley it wouldn't play so was returned. Amazon refunded the cost the next day and the service was 100%.
