6 May 2010 Yotsuba&! (Book 8)
...in which Yotsuba nearly flies away in a typhoon (wheeeee!), does battle with Yanda (why, you dirty, rotten...), and goes to a festival where her attention is railroaded by taiko drums, costumes, and CANDY (ohhhhh, so yummy), among many other things!

5.0 out of 5 stars A warm cosy and occasionally funny slice of life 25 Feb 2013
By dingbat
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
More of the antics of four year old Yotsuba. As before it's just the everyday experiences of Yotsuba with her father and the people next door. Everyone is nice and everyone is kind. Definitely a feelgood manga. And the artwork is excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars simply hilarious 20 April 2010
By Ricardo H. Ramirez - Published on Amazon.com
Yotsuba's everyday adventures with the 8th installment of the series are just as enjoyable as the previous books. This book made me laugh so much, that it is probably my favorite book out of the rest. It is also the biggest book being around 220 pages long...i had my doubts about this manga when i first started reading it, but i am glad that i actually got a chance to enjoy it, i cannot wait for volume 9 to come out

5.0 out of 5 stars Like Reliving Childhood 21 July 2010

This book and its series help remind us what it was like to be a kid and do all sorts of crazy things. When ever I read any of this series books I am either smiling or laughing. Volume 8 in particular has its funny parts such as when Yotsuba pretends its opposite day, or how she likes when it rains and runs out into a typhoon. Also there is some sort of japanese (religious?) cultural event Yotsuba takes part in which I am not familiar with but Yotsuba makes it comical. All in all this is a fun read which can make just about anyone smile and laugh.
