I got this book after I got my Yorkie puppy. I must say that if you intend to show your dog then it's really good, but for everyday things it's just not practical enough as it constantly goes on about the dog's coat, In fact grooming is the main topic of the book. It is also aimed at US readers. However, it's not a bad book, it does give a good overview of the breed and covers some intering topics such as introducing your dog to the new baby in the family and the ageing of the dog that I have not seen in other books.

a great small book to keep. Learned much - but I knew most, but it did refresh me and I've returned to it as and when needed it. Good all rounder to have in the dog cupboard.
