    Bought this bike in January 2009 after reading a very positive "Which" review of the cheaper model (C202 I think). The C302 is very well manufactured and offers a cycling experience as close to the real thing as you could want. In operation it is near silent and the pedal action is smooth throughout the entire revolution of the pedals whatever friction level is applied. The riding position is very adjustable and the handlebars are the best I have seen on an exercise bike. The saddle is comfortable. The control panel is easy to read and simple in operation - the LED display being highly informative. The HRM works a treat whether you simply put your hands on the handlebar sensors or use a chest transmitter. Overall one of the few products I would score 10/10. Very impressed and on sale at an unbeatable price on Amazon - I have seen it selling for as much as £649 elsewhere.

    I bought one of these back in January, it was to replace a bike that I had had for years and had just died. I do about 1 hour per day and to start with it was very quiet, however after about 5 weeks it had developed a clunking sound on every pedal turn. I contacted york direct and after a few weeks of poor customer service (I did not get a single one of the many promised callbacks) they agreed to replace the bike. The new bike is much better and apart from a few creaks it is very quiet, however if this one goes the same way then I will be after a refund as I don't think I would have another York.

    Review update November 2009, sure enough I am now having problems with the second bike. It has become increasingly noisy over the last couple of weeks. It has developed a scraping noise and the casing creaks and groans. I have emailed York and I will see what they have to say, however if they offer a choice of replacement or refund I will go for a refund as I would not go for another York cycle. I could not recommend the build quality

    The Cycle does exactly what is is set to do with additional features like heart monitors and programs for different users. Put together in 45 mins snd is quite heavy.The pedals were a liitle tricky because if not screwed in properly will keep working themselves loose. The mat is highly reccomended as the cycle is heavy and will mark the floor if moved.
