Maybe lubricate them with something oil or small bit of marg.

votes that's a link to grip training for captain crush grippers. You could modify that to suit you. Also my two cents. - start with low reps 5-10, do 5 sets - don't focus on pumping up the forearm, get enough rest between sets - don't over train, over training can lead to injuries to hands that take long time to heal and u'll need to start at the bottom again.
