This pad does not fit an olimpic bar, but for a standard bar it does the job just fine, the foam is a high density tube with one side cut through so you can slip it on your bar (and not thread it onto the bar from the end) and the cover is vinal so can be wiped clean from sweat/dirt it's little thin but it's only there to hold the foam in place.
The pad takes away a lot of the discomfort across the shoulders/traps and alowed me to put all my effort into good squats instead of being distracted by the discomfort.
I'm realy glad i bought this item as before i avoided doing squats but now I enjoy squats and I only wish I bought it sooner.

Not much to say about this, it's a foam roll with a cutout so it just snaps onto the bar, then the vinyl cover goes over it. Makes squats a lot more comfortable so you can just concentrate on the lift.
Also found you can stick it on the end of the bar when you're done, stops it marking the wall if you store it against one.

I have been using this Barbell Pad for a few days now and what a difference it makes, when doing squats i was getting fed up with my neck and shoulders aching every time i did a set of squats, it is very comfortable to use and does not allow the bar to move and more importantly it allows me to move onto heavier weights with no added discomfort so i can recommend this product good price and does the job
