- Share your performance with friends and the Yoostar 2 community on Yoostar 2's in-game social portal, Yoostar.com and even through your Facebook page or Twitter.
- Earn awards and increase your "Fame" status through community participation, such as sharing videos, rating and awarding other player’s performances.
- On Yoostar.com, players can enter contests, check out their status on the leaderboards, watch "how-to" videos to improve performances and much more.

Firstly, as has been said the ads give a perception of quality which is not there (but it's certainly infinitely better than 'In the Movies' and is watchable).
If you are a quiet person/couple, a family of slight introverts or just sober, this may well be the dullest game ever released.
If you are loud and like to show off, have a family who likes to camp it up and play the fool or have friends around and are drunk as skunks, then this may well be the most hilarious game ever released.
Some clips are ridiculously short and shouldn't have been included, but the general choice ain't too bad.
With a group of friends, I had one of the funniest nights of my life playing this, however, I'd never consider playing this on my own or as a couple.

This is one of my favourite Kinect games as it is original and very fun to play and makes a change from all the sports/dance games you usually get with motion control consoles. My favourite scene to do is the one where you play Mike Tyson in The Hangover and get to sing then punch out Alan!
PROS:
Original and fun party game, great for movie fans
Two people can be acting in a scene at once
New scenes are available to buy weekly
You can upload videos to share on Facebook and Twitter
I'd recommend 'liking' Yoostar on Facebook as they respond to wall posts very quickly if you need them to (comments, complaints, suggestions etc)
CONS:
There could be more scenes for the ladies!
You need to be on Facebook to be able to use Yoostar Playground app (where you share and rate the videos)
You can't save your videos to your computer/put them on YouTube (but have been told this could change in future)
If you don't have a good background/lighting set-up the videos can show an aura/pixels around the person playing
With regards to the quality of the videos, for best results, you need to have a contrasting background to what you are wearing i.e. if you have a white background, wear black. If your clothing and background are the same colour, the Kinect has trouble telling the difference so the outline around you is blurry. I'm happy with the quality of my videos although it is not the super-crisp quality like in the trailers but I wouldn't expect it to be.
100% recommended - although make sure you have brave friends to play it with you as some of mine are too embarrassed to act in front of each other!

When Kinect came out I really thought we were going to be treated to something special in terms of the games that could be played but apart from Kinect Sports there's been nothing I've found so far that has justified the purchase. That is until I bought Yoostar 2. I bought this for a family birthday last weekend and we all had great fun giving it a go, recording scenes from Godfather, 300 & Star Trek plus one of all-time favourites, Shaun of the Dead. I can understand it getting a bit boring when you just act the scenes as they were meant to be acted but the ad libbed scenes are hilarious and the fact you can share them on Facebook and Twitter is magic, then your friends who weren't there can see the videos too. In the other reviews, people have talked about non-game footage in the adverts and not being able to get the same results when playing Yoostar 2 but I think that sometimes you need a little perspective with cameras. If you took a picture of your girlfriend with the sun directly behind her, you wouldn't get a very good picture and the same is true of Kinect. To get a great picture, you need to follow the tutorial in the game, we did and I can honestly say it didn't matter to my family at all. It wasn't the same as the TV advert admittedly but generally it was a really good picture and we had a great time.
The fact that we post the game on Playground, Yoostar's Facebook game, and then next day, the kids can get all their mates to view and vote for their clips, is brilliant, Facebook is all my kids seem to do. I'm looking forward to the next time the lads are over for the football, we can have a great laugh with this game as well.... Read more ›

buyer beware!
"game footage simulated" is an important phrase to notice when seeing the amazon video trailer. The real game is no where near as clear camera footage. Your image is very pixelated around the edges which does detract from the experience somewhat.
Also I was very disapointed to find that you can't replay your scenes or save them (even on a usb flash drive) with my 4gb xbox - therefore I have had to order the 250gb drive in order to get the full value of the game.
I'm giving the game 3 stars as there is fun to be had, I just wish the company had been a bit more honest with their advertising up front.

Only £2 so I should really moan, but what a waste of time. There is very little fun in seeing the few scenes you do recognise carved up and completely changed to facilitate your appearance and then have some utterly arbitrary scoring mechanism introduced that makes no sense whatsoever, not to mention half the scenes coming from films that I am pretty sure were never actually released. Let's just say, there's a damn good reason it's £2 and that is probably all it has going for it. As a cheap stocking filler it initially impressed but I highly doubt will ever go beyond the initial 10 minutes it was played with.

definitely worth a quid.
This really isn't a very good game but it was very cheap and the supplier did an excellent job. So far it has provided seconds of fun and in time that might even add up to minutes.
