Product Description

The Yonex BG 80 Power badminton string has been designed for harder-hitting players seeking high repulsion and great smash capabilities. With an extra-fine diameter, the string is durable and provides soft response and feel on contact with the shuttlecock. The white string is strong and can be strung to a high tension thanks to the high-polymer nylon and Vectran materials used in its manufacturing. The string is 10m (33ft) in length with a gauge of 22 (0.68mm).

My stringer (who worked in the last All England in Birmingham) said that this string might be fake, as the string started coiling up halfway through stringing, and felt that there was a distinct difference between this one and the ones he has.

His comment was supported when I was using this racket and comparing with another one that was strung exactly to the same tension (29x27) except that the other one was strung in Japan. Both rackets were bought at the same time and from the same seller from Japan. The tensions felt exactly the same, HOWEVER, the string bought from RacquetDeal felt dull and there was no repulsion, furthermore, the strings kept going out of place, and I had to adjust in between points.

I'm not saying that the string sold to me was fake, but it does feel like. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
