From JENNIFER ANISTON's Yoga Instructor comes Yogalosophy. MANDY INGBER is a Los Angeles based yoga and fitness instructor whose sell out classes have set the fitness standard for over a decade. The programme consists of two 30-minute routines and a fully loaded 55-minute challenge along with six yoga extras. The routines are a hybrid of traditional yoga poses paired with traditional toning exercises that will get the body into its best shape ever. Yogalosophy uses the theory that mental messages sent to the body during exercise yield physical results

I'm relatively new to Yoga, and due to my work rota, I'm only able to make the one class a week. I thought getting a DVD would help me practice the poses and breathing technique in between classes.

I kind of stumbled across this DVD in Zest magazine which I subscribe to, and was of course sold when I realised this was Jennifer Anniston's yoga instructor. A bit apprehensive at first, I was worried that Mandy might annoy me with her chirpy American style, but I was pleasantly surprised.

This DVD aims to help you tone, whilst incorporating Yoga Poses and balance. It's such an intense workout, as not only do you have to hold the pose but then move into lunges, squats, and even press ups. This aside, I do feel entirely relaxed at the end of each workout, and can definitely feel the yoga benefit.

Relaxing soundtrack, great beach setting, I found myself really warming to Mandy and her mantras, "I have a great ass, I have a great ass...".

5 stars from me.

I have been using the Yogalosophy dvd daily for the past few weeks and can already see defined changes within my physique. My legs are more toned and my bum is looking a lot more shapely. I can even see a change in the thigh area which looks slimmer. I am definitely going to keep this up. However it is not yoga as we no it so those looking for the traditional yoga or even spiritual will not find that here. You will sweat and push yourself with this dvd and feel knackered after but if you want to see changes in your body this is it; if you put the work in you'll see results. My husband does the dvd occationally and although he says he feels like he's had a workout the instructor is too chatty for his liking. I on the otherhand don't mind the talking it keeps me going and stops me thinking about the burn.

I do yoga at home and really enjoy the stretching and relaxation elements of it. I'm off on holiday soon so to get bikini-ready I thought I'd try this DVD. It's certainly more of a workout than my usual yoga routine and there's some very challenging toning exercies. If you want to do traditional yoga I wouldn't buy this DVD. However if you enjoy yoga but want more of a toning challenge then I'd definitely give this a try.

Despite a few cheesey lines about levitating and having a great ass, the exercises are pretty good and I'm definitely feeling the burn on my legs having done the full length routine this morning.

I would agree that it's not always easy to follow Mandy from one exercise to the next as she doesn't always tell you when to move on to the next exercise. Many of the exercises are done in a way that you can't really look at the screen while you're doing them which means you miss when she's moved on to something else. Overall though I think it's a good DVD.

Good sequence, not too difficult, no requirement to do the pose on the cover. I do get a bit jaded with her frequent referrals to her 'great ass' but if you overlook that its a good dvd.

I love this DVD and it really has helped me to tone up.

I like the fact it's broken down into sections too so if you're in a hurry or don't fancy doing the whole DVD then you can pick and choose what you do.

I find her voice a little annoying but that's not a problem because once you know what you're doing, there's an option to do the DVD without instruction and it has relaxing music in the background instead :-)

Came across Mandy Ingbers Yogalosophy on Sky Fitness 282.
I attend yoga class but follow Mandy between classes.
She is warm, friendly, very fit and an inspiration.
Thought I'd get the DVD and her book too.
Must say the recipes/food list in the book could cost a small fortune but the principle of following a healthy eating diet and making small changes to your life is inspiring.
Would highly recommend!

First of all, I'm a guy, and Second of all, its OK for guys to do Yoga!
As a newbie to Yoga, this DVD is perfect. Mandy knows exactly how to help you perform the movements and
there is something rather calming about being able to hear the ocean as she performs the workout...maybe
I'm getting too into this. Lovely footage of Jennifer Aniston at the beginning too

Apparently Victoria Beckham is now using a similar workout designed by Mandy incorporating astrology to 'align the body and mind' as she tries to get back in shape after having her baby
