Yoga fire 13 May 2011
By KirstyM
I do yoga at home and really enjoy the stretching and relaxation elements of it. I'm off on holiday soon so to get bikini-ready I thought I'd try this DVD. It's certainly more of a workout than my usual yoga routine and there's some very challenging toning exercies. If you want to do traditional yoga I wouldn't buy this DVD. However if you enjoy yoga but want more of a toning challenge then I'd definitely give this a try.

Despite a few cheesey lines about levitating and having a great ass, the exercises are pretty good and I'm definitely feeling the burn on my legs having done the full length routine this morning.

I would agree that it's not always easy to follow Mandy from one exercise to the next as she doesn't always tell you when to move on to the next exercise. Many of the exercises are done in a way that you can't really look at the screen while you're doing them which means you miss when she's moved on to something else. Overall though I think it's a good DVD.

What a workout.... 23 May 2011
I'm relatively new to Yoga, and due to my work rota, I'm only able to make the one class a week. I thought getting a DVD would help me practice the poses and breathing technique in between classes.

I kind of stumbled across this DVD in Zest magazine which I subscribe to, and was of course sold when I realised this was Jennifer Anniston's yoga instructor. A bit apprehensive at first, I was worried that Mandy might annoy me with her chirpy American style, but I was pleasantly surprised.

This DVD aims to help you tone, whilst incorporating Yoga Poses and balance. It's such an intense workout, as not only do you have to hold the pose but then move into lunges, squats, and even press ups. This aside, I do feel entirely relaxed at the end of each workout, and can definitely feel the yoga benefit.

Relaxing soundtrack, great beach setting, I found myself really warming to Mandy and her mantras, "I have a great ass, I have a great ass...".

5 stars from me.

I absolutely loved this dvd from Mandy Ingber. Its not a normal yoga dvd where you dont do a lot, its all the yoga poses but a bit more hardcore, i cant wait to get home and do some more. After only 1, 30 min workout and 1, 55 total body challange i can already feel and see the difference. It is a little hard to follow at first but even after 2 goes im getting the hang of it, just go at your own pace and be prepared to get a bit of a sweat on!!

I may be delusional but the tape measure has been kinder to me since using this DVD. When Mandy's patter gets on my nerves, I switch to "music only" mode. Great stuff! Read more

Great toning yoga dvd
Loving this DVD, yes it's not really yoga in the sense that there's squats in there and push ups, but if you want to tone up quickly and safely, then this is a great DVD. Read more
