I've been an admirer of Paavoharju ever since a friend gave me a mixtape of Finnish psych-folk music. It's experimental, delicate, beautiful. Some of the tracks feel a little broken, damaged, but always held together by the band's fearless approach.

although there are times when it sounds a bit treble-y; the piano at least. The vocals are amazing. I also love that I have no idea what she's saying; if it were something silly it would ruin the effect. Discovered this band through the venerable Aquarius records and got a cheap copy here (I know, I should be supporting independent record stores...but I work at a non-profit). This will not be a regretted purchase.
