5.0 out of 5 stars Page turner 23 Jan 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I downloaded the first part of this free like many others I expect. . . . And then HAD to read the rest of season 1 as a result. The writers have certainly succeeded in their serialisation aim, in that I kept finding myself having to find out what happens next. The writing's pretty damn excellent, in a friendly easy reading kind of way that I like. Thanks Guys !!

3.0 out of 5 stars Different but frustrating 20 Sep 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Having just finished season one I don't actually know if I enjoyed it or not. If you like books that provide even the slightest degree of closure this is not for you. Having said this, it is deliberately designed for readers who love to be left hanging and the the authors are honest and make no secret that cliff hangers are their preferred style. Unfortunately, having paid for the series I at least expected some, even one answer towards the end.

For me this book was an uncomfortable crashing together of genres; Sci-Fi (Although I am still not sure if there is an alien force at work) Sci-Fantasy (If it turns out there are no aliens it must be fantasy, surely) and last but not least, Horror/gratuitous violence.

'Winging it as they go along' with one or two too many 'threads' was my conclusion. I am not even sure the authors have a clue where this tale is going and how it will all end but perhaps that is part of the charm.

Lots of reviewers loved it and I liked parts but unfortunately the lack of a single answer by the last page means only three stars from me.

5.0 out of 5 stars flaming bloody marvellous 23 May 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Bought the first 2 episodes before realising that they come in seasons, but hey ho still bought season 1
after finishing the first 2. Well thats me hooked then, seamless writing and the pace at times is literally
breath taking, and I am not known for gushing or high praise for the sake of it, but praise where it's due
for these writers. Breaking down the characters stories, and leaving them on a cliff hanger before you go back to them
individually is a master stroke, and for this I salute you.

Go get it what are you waiting for? this is the reason I have been waiting for to get a Kindle, there's no waiting
thank God.

Well done boys

A very happy bunny this end thank you
