Format:VHS Tape
Its one of the best movies by the Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla. The pair complement each other. If you like soppy loves films this is not the one for you. To best describe this film, comedy plays a key part of this romantic flick.
The story is mainly about them two, and their 'Boss' who is Adtiya Pancholi. Shahrukh's aim in life is to make alot of money, the same goes for Juhi. They both act as if they are the richest people on earth, but later on find out that they are in the same boat.
Shahrukh does all of his boss's dirty work as he is a bit of a player. He keeps all his boss's girlfriends in order, I mean so they don't find out about each other!. One of his task was to get Juhi (the company model) to fall in love with his boss. As time goes by, Shahrukh ends up falling in love with Juhi. He tries his best to tell her but does not succeed. The film contains beautiful songs, sung by the best artiest to date.
I'm a hindi film fanatic, so if you like romantic comedies with a bit of action buy this film NOW!.....I loved it and so will you.

This was made in 1997 with an SRK still with his puppy fat. A lot of the feel of the movie is more the Hollywood romances of the 1960s than a movie of the 90s.
However SRK is always good (and better in the second half than the first) and there is good chemistry between him and the girl (Juhi Chawla).
I was tossing up about holding onto this as it feels a bit corny and dated but it does have a certain something given all those qualifications.

The film is a nice Hindi version of the Billy Wilder film The Apartment. Unfortunately, the TipTop DVD release is an absolute disaster, cripplingly cropped - believe it or not - from 2.35:1 to a pain-inducing 1.56:1 resolution that mostly serves to eliminate significant portions of the on-screen action and truncating characters to just a hand or a nose or an ear. Messy subtitling and inadequate picture quality of that part of the picture not cropped out, coupled with poor audio quality, yields a prime example of how to do everything wrong.
There is an Eros release of the same film, not currently listed on Amazon, which is considerably better than this TipTop mangling.
