Farily sturdy 30 x 20cm canvas bag with 6 external storage pockets and carry handles, 10cm high lightweight metal watering can with rose, 20cm long metal fork and trowel and a small paperback starter gardening book. We were concerned that the metal watering can might be too heavy for our one-year old but it is fine - the trowel and fork are slightly pointed so we are saving those for when she is a little older, and the book is perhaps aimed at still older children (our daughter was walking ealry so I would say it is aimed at 3 years plus but is good for ages 2 onwards with supervision). Bright and attractive and very durable if looked after. You can add your own items for storage in the pockets. Our daughter helps water the houseplants as well as uses it in the garden with us!

I ordered this for my daughter, who is 21 months. I love the bright primary colours suitable for a boy or a girl, and which frees us from the sea of pink! The tools are good quality, as is the bag, and as they are metal they will actually work. The little watering can is adorable, although the rose is not removable so cleaning it may be a problem if it gets clogged.
The bag has plenty of space for more tools, or seed packets, and the book it came with will be useful in later years although is way too old for a toddler. I'd have thought by the time the book WAS suitable, the child would be too old for the product, so get it for a toddler/pre-schooler and hold onto the book for later as it's very informative.
Overall this is a very good value, non-gender-specific, quality product which I would definitely buy for another child.
