Yeoman FSC Approved Carbon Steel Dibber

Sometimes known as a dibblet, this Yeoman hand dibber features a harden carbon steel point for extra strength and rigidity when working in the garden. Simply push the tool into the ground to produce a small hole in the soil, into which seeds, bulbs and bedding plants can be precisely planted for a considered use of space around your flower beds and lawn. The contoured yellow handle features a T grip for greater comfort and power in use, and is made from FSC certified wood for that traditional touch.

Yeoman’s Cultivating Range is a comprehensive selection of quality, value for money tools, ideal for everyday gardening tasks. All products feature carbon steel heads for durability and strength.

I found this dibber excellent for pushing into hard ground to plant spring bulbs. Also pushes in between other plants that would be disturbed otherwise.

This should last me a good few years as it seems well made and is a nice weight without being heavy. Strong enough to puncture drainage holes in plastic pots too.

Bought to help with bulb planting in a lawn. Within 10 minutes of using the tool, the small screws joining the metal spike to the wooden handle came out. Absolutely useless for tough jobs; probably ok for light repotting / transferring plants to a well-dug bed.
