Not quite as good as the Felco pruning saw that it replaces but then it is half the price. Operator error snapped the Felco so I took a chance on a cheaper one (in case I did it again) and it is nearly as good. Certainly does the job perfectly but you do have to remember these are designed to cut on the pull cut (some reviews on this type of saw say they don't cut- they do if you pull!) This one despatches thick deciduous branches with ease. I haven't tried it on a whole tree yet, but that was how I snapped the Felco!

Not the most robust gardening tool, but adequate for minor jobs. The piece of wire that acts as a locking device tends to come loose every time it is used. But this is compensated for by its price.

Performs well. Blade held well by clip and cuts effectively. Good for most large shrubs and small trees.
