From the Author

Still the most practical for MANY who suffer unknowingly
Trained as a "regular" doctor at very fine schools, I discovered about yeast when I was looking for solutions for patient problems that "wouldn't get better." I spent 3 years perfecting a treatment program that is very simple, very direct -- and very successful. The book describes exactly what you need to know to "get better," under the care of a local physician willing to help you recover your health -- even if he/she has to step into "alternative" approaches because "usual" care simply fails to produce the results. Since 1986 publication, the treatment program has hardly changed -- that speaks to a successful, basic plan that addresses most problems for most readers who are suffering. Patients and physicians from around the world have written me for assistance with their illness problems. Happily, I have been able to stand by "the basics" explained in The Yeast Syndrome book, simply because a true understanding is hard to beat. In the past 12 years, we've gotten newer diagnostic and treatment tools, so your own physician might have some "new twists" -- that's great. But the key to understanding why you got sick and how to get better are in the pages of this wonderful book. Since publishing The Yeast Syndrome, I've gone on to self-publish books on degenerative joint disease, heavy metal intoxications, and cardiovascular diseases. The Yeast Syndrome remains my most popular work -- what I wrote is very likely true for you, young and old, boy and girl, man and woman. Please feel free to share your reviews. And please follow the program advised by your cooperative physician, so that you might enjoy more robust and exuberant health -- for the rest of your life!

5.0 out of 5 stars This book encouraged me to get to the root of my problem., 15 July 1998

This review is from: The Yeast Syndrome (Mass Market Paperback)
I had difficulty starting this book and it sat on my bookshelf for years, until I had another bout with candida. I then, went to the back of the book and read of the complications of the condition when left untreated. I couldn't put the book down and am now setting up a diet and looking for a doctor to help with treatment. So, I recommend the book highly.

This review is from: The Yeast Syndrome (Mass Market Paperback)
I'll keep it simple..after years of suffering and countless trips to the drs, I now have a name for my condition and will make the necessary changes in my diet etc., to rid this problem. AND since my dr (UK) still wont listen and therefore chosen to disagree with 'my diagnosis,' I'll have to 'go it alone' with a lot of faith and the help of otc natural medicine!
UNBELIEVABLE BOOK..THANK YOU!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Women, you MUST read this book - it could save your sanity., 23 Jan 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: The Yeast Syndrome (Mass Market Paperback)
For years I dealt with severe depression, painful digestive disorders, bronchitis, and recurrent yeast and bladder infections. Less than two years ago I bought this book as a last resort. I didn't know what to expect if I followed its recommendations - I was desperate. To my great surprise, it worked! I am presently free of all the above symptoms plus a host of others too numerous to mention here. Yeast may not be your problem, but it sure doesn't hurt to find out. It's definitely worth the few dollars for this book. Because of the dedication and open-mindedness of its author, I am healthy and truly happy for the first time in my life. I wrote him a thank-you letter to that effect, and he replied with a handwritten note of congratulation and urged me to spread the word about this illness. Buy this book - you'll be glad you did. I am.
