wow,this box set ia well worth it. if you are a huge blur fan like me and ca'nt afford to buy every origional single you missed out on as you were too young or just didnt know about them this is essential. the b-sides are brill esp young and lovley. i do not recommend you buy this if you are only one of these fans who likes song 2 and nothing else as you may feel dissapointed. but for all big blur fans this is a must xx

From cd 1 right through to cd 24 this is with out doubt a classic.Who ever thinks that blur were just a small pop band with songs like country house had better sit down befour they hurt themselves,once you have heard the lyrical ability of the boy Albarn coupled with one of the best in modern guitar playing that is Coxon, even non blur fans will start to love the band of the 90s that is blur.There range is clearly visable from there light harted Red necks song (go west brother) to the profound Essex dogs and so many more.Listening to the box set in it's entirety you can track the ups and downs in the personal lives of the band members and the evolution of blur from good,to the best band that have come from these shores in many a long year, the live performances are superb illustrating the bands technical ability and sence of humor sorely lacking in todays music.A steel at the price, in fact i would pay double, it's worth it for the sensational b-sides alone.

Blur as a group have moved on musically and socially so much during the 1990's that looking back from having listened to all the songs in order on this box set, that it could be the same band at the end as it was at the start. At least 100 of these songs are b-sides, and with blur not being widely regarded as a b-sides band the fair-weather fan would avoid this, but if you turn out to be one of the lucky and priviledged few, who do buy it will be able to read the story of blur without even looking at the cover of any autobiography. I Give Up.Just Buy It.
