A terrific cat's tale 22 Feb 2003
Format:Hardcover
You could be forgiven for thinking Robert Westall's book was meant exclusively for children, but it reminded me (in tone) of Rosemary's Baby. A mother and her two children arrive in a small town on the Norfolk coast and so begins a series of tense stand-offs from the locals. Lot's of craggy-faces stare from the shadows of the village hedgerows, leaving the new arrivals worried for their lives. It's a terrific read for both young and old and well worth discovering.

Yaxley's cat 8 Jan 2012
Format:Hardcover
I was delighted to find this, given my name! I have had a copy for years but wanted to share with nephews and nieces. A good entertaining story for all, even without my surname!
