Recently got back into my guitar and this little thing is a wonder, simple to use (you pluck the string and an LED will come on telling you if its too high or low), and makes tuning alot easier (specially if your tone deaf like me). Annoyingly I bought it just last week and it has just gone down in price :(

I started learning guitar in December 07 and found this simple and easy to use. Tuned my guitar in under 10 minutes without any hassle. Well worth the money. Compared to other tuners I have borrowed from friends this is by far the easiest to use. Those flashing little lights are really helpful - rather than annoying!!

I have only recently started playing the guitar, but have been playing other intruments for a good few years. I am pretty hopeless in trying to tune my guitar by ear, so this little tool is perfect. Plus its a two-in-one if you have a bass guitar as well.

I am not sure what the 1-star review for this product is about, I can only think that their unit was faulty or something. After tuning my guitar, all the strings ring beautifully and I repeat it every few days. A good investment for guitar player experienced or beginner.

I would recommend you reading your the instruction manual if you are new the the guitar or not sure about notes/tuning in general. Its helpful if you know which string should be what note before tuning.

This Guitar Tuner is great I can now tune my guitars in 5 minutes.

Very easy to use, with lights telling you to tighten or loosen the strings.

The tuner works fine when the guitar or bass is slightly out of tune. I have a 12 strings acoustic guitar and it took me a LOT of time to do the octave strings since the tuner could not make its mind if it was too high or too low. I gave up and had to tune it manually - only then I used the tuner to make sure it was alright. So if your guitar is miles away from the right pitch, good luck!

It's made of plastic and it looks very breakable. When you open the batteries slot, you actually can see the circuit board from there, it's totally exposed ... so although I can't say yet at this stage, it does not strike me as being durable.

Also, there's no option to change the pitch (like John Lennon would have). The tuner does the bare minimum but I guess you can't expect a lot more for this price.
