The PSR-E333 is ideal for beginners or advanced players. The keyboard is touch sensitive, which means that as you strike the keys harder, volume and tone changes in a similar manner to a real piano. This is a great feature if you are used to playing piano, or are intending to learn.
The instrument features 497 voices arranged into sections such as Piano, Guitar, Drum Kits and Sound Effects. There are 106 accompaniments which create a "backing band" based on musical styles such as Dance, Swing & Jazz, Ballroom and R&B. The Yamaha Education System enables the beginner to start playing immediately and there is a 2-track recording system to store your own performance.
Voices, styles and songs can be easily selected using the keypad while the Portable Grand button enables the player to quickly put the keyboard into a Piano only mode.
The keyboard features Yamaha's Ultra Wide Stereo system, which makes the sound more expansive, through the built-in speaker system or when using optional headphones.The back-lit LCD screen shows the instrument's settings and also features a keyboard and notation guide.
There is a USB To Host port to enable connection to suitably-equipped computers.

I've never played the keyboard before, but always had a passion for it. In short I love this thing. It's really well built and good quality. Just in case you were a beginner like me and you had no clue about keyboards then I'll tell you it's powered by an AC plug. You can enable and disable touch sensitivity on the keys. It has a little screen with a piano on it, so everytime you play a key it shows up on the little screen and also shows you which music note you are playing. It has built in songs. When you play the song each note played shows up on the little screen, so you can learn how to play the song. Unfortunately I was upset to know that a MIDI output USB cable is not included, but you can buy a decent one for about 5-10 pounds. Aside from that P&P were really good and I'm really happy to have bought it :D

First keyboard for our son as recomended by his piano teacher, technically probably more advanced then he needs now but will last good few levels and as it looks very serious and professional he really practices all the time as loves it so much.

Great purchase as long as your not a professional keyboard player. Lots of fun. I've just retired and this is the ideal thing to pass the time pleasurably. Good value for money. Downloading extra songs just a tad expensive. Overall great. P.S. Don't forget to buy a stand and cover.
