I have had my yamaha psr-290 since 1997 which will soon be 13 years! it has lasted all that time with no problems...I have recently upgraded to a Yamaha P-85 simply because I wanted 88 weighted keys and the psr 290 does not have weighted keys.It has 61 non weighted but touch sensitive keys.It is a good strong wearing keyboard with many technical features and sounds at the same time as having quite a nice grand-piano sound (but not feel). For someone just looking for a good sounding keyboard with several good technical features rather than a traditional weighted feel piano with less features this is a good choice.
