This may be an old book, (1996) but it is still so relevant to how we think and operate today, our fears, our wanting to keep the options open, what if something/someone better comes along tomorrow. Read it!

This book is excellent. For those who are highly anxious/panicky about the idea of marriage and don't fully understand why....this book lays out some of the complexities and reasons for how someone may be afraid [consciously and unconsciously] about making big decisions. Also points us towards down to earth reality and the nature of commitment i.e requiring trade-offs etc which is important amidst unhelpful hollywood style ideas about romance. I could write lots about this! but basically this book helped me immensely throughout my engagement. Couldn't recommend it enough!:)
