- Extended Warranty, provided by Allianz Insurance plc (we, us, our), offers you the following protection:
- Breakdown cover for your product following the expiry of the manufacturer’s guarantee
- Accidental damage cover from day one for the duration of the policy
- For example, a 5-year warranty will provide 5 years of accidental damage cover and 4 years of breakdown cover, in the case the product has a 1-year guarantee from the manufacturer
- If the product breaks down outside of the manufacturer’s guarantee or is damaged, it will be repaired; if it can’t be repaired, we will provide a cash settlement for replacement
- The policy is subject to terms and conditions as well as some exclusions and limitations applying: for example, cover will not apply to normal wear and tear of the appliance or damage caused by not following the manufacturer’s instructions
