Man alive this thing is enormous! I think I was seduced by the name and the pictures into thinking it was a little tiny cigar-type thing which I could attach discreetly and easily wherever I might want it. But it's a whopper, and heavy as well. Don't believe the pictures... all but one of the publicity shots of this thing show it without any cables emerging but in fact there is a great big cable gland on the back (visible in one of the shots) which is not removable and which has a thick white bundle of cables coming out (power, audio, ethernet and terminal block). These are contained within a white sheath and break out into individual tails at the end. Since these aren't removable, and the camera can operate using power alone (via wifi) they're a bit messy. And if you want to install the camera outdoors or pass the cables through any wall or panel you'll need to drill a massive hole to get all the connectors through (and then find a way of extending the cables if you need to).
All that said, the actual camera seems to work really well. Easy to set up, picture quality looks good, infra-red function works really well. I paid a not dissimilar amount for a low-end Axis camera not long ago and it was, by comparison, awful especially in low light. This is much smoother and works nicely, took me about 20 mins to set up including internet access.
Now... all I need is one a fraction of the size which I can easily clamp to the edge of the baby's cot and I'll be happy.
