I bought this product to do the recording for university lectures. I sat myself at the very first row in order to catch the best result of recording.
Firstly, the quality of sound is poor and builtin speaker itself is just useless.. you can hardly hear nothing playing your recordings or songs from that speaker!
Secondly, the quality of microphone is poor ... well, you can STILL hear what the lecturer is talking about after transferring the file back to the computer through itunes but you would have to turn your computer volume to the highest thou.

Thirdly, it clashs my nano after unplugging the hardware.. I have to restore my nano to the factory settings and import all the songs back in again...

well well well... you get what you pay for.. good luck guys!
If you are not someone with a high expectations and expecting some excellent recording quality.. then yahh.. this product is great and well designed! lets' go for it!
However, if you are looking for something professional, enhancing and efficient... then be well prepared for disappointment!

I use this for recording my singing lesson. Quality of sound for this is excellent. Burns onto a CD wonderfully. It does occasionally cause problems with my IPOD but just doing a basic reset on the machine sorts it out without losing any data.

Don't buy this - it doesn't fit any of the nanos! I have tried this product on G1, G2 and G3 nanos but it doesn't fit any of them. Very disappointing as the product sounds really great (maybe they fit the normal ipods).
