Excellent and well-priced 1 Sep 2010

I must admit that when I bought this it was for the sole-reason of the DVD player. However, I watch Freeview TV on this all the time. The ariel that comes with it is excellent and the possibility of recording Freeview programs is easy to do and an excellent bonus. It is an ideal size to use in the bedroom when you haven't got a lot of space and the quality of picture is first-class. I thought initially that watching a big film on the small screen may strain my eyes, but I needn't worry. The only reason it didn't get 5-stars is because I think the power-lead that came with it should be a bit longer. Other than that a well-produced product and I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a portable DVD player.

A convenient size to carry around with you 4 Nov 2010

I bought this portable DVD player for my husband as a birthday present. I chose this particular make because it was multi region as my husbands orders DVD's from the States. So far he has used it without any problems and is enjoying the portability. I was in the hospital for half a day and he waited for me so he took his DVD player and watched a film in the waiting room. All in all he is happy with Xoro. The only thing is that it did not pick up freeview with the aerial provided but this is not very necessary as we have other digital tv receivers at home.

lifesaver portable dvd & tv 29 Nov 2010

I bought this dvd player with builtin free view for my husband to take on holiday. he is a very active type and unfortunately grounded by an injury to his foot which had to be rested.

This product exceeded our expectations and was easy for non-techers to set up.
