This toner cartridge produces excellent prints but, in my case, does not achieve the 8000 page rating. I have exhausted the standard black toner cartridge that came with the printer and one high capacity black cartridge and am now on my second high capacity black cartridge and my printer page count is just over 7000.

The print quality is fine, but it states it prints a maximum of 8000 pages. Well, we are currently at 3600 pages and the printer is telling us it is running low already. The printer is printing pages at standard quality (cant go any lower than that) so even taking into consideration it being a "maximum" I really cannot see how it can claim to give you 80000 pages!

What is there to say. It's a hi capacity toner cartridge. I hope it lasts a lot longer than the standard cartridge. The printer produces stunning quality print-outs but I think I was mis-led as to the running cost of this printer (going by how very quickly it used a cartridge of toner) -- I had printed about half the claimed 3000 pages when I had to find a new cartridge. Hence the need for the hi capacity cartridge. No wonder I am looking into re-filling the cartridges (which I have done successfully on the printer that this Xerox replaced).
