Xen Tan is definitely the best self-tanner on the market, at least for me anyway! Before use, make sure to exfoliate thoroughly before applying, using a loofah and/or an exfoliating formula/scrub for perfect application. Oh, and be sure to shave your legs at least 24 hours before application, otherwise you could end up with streaky legs, and fortunately with Xen tan, thats the only way you could end up with streaks!
Unlike all the other cheap tans I have worn, this one smells absolutely LOVELY and it doesn't reek like all those manky moisturizers and such (Johnson's, I'm looking at you!). Xen tan leaves you with a natural-looking olive tone without a hint of orange (just make sure you DON'T moisturize before application, or you WILL turn orange)! It's totally streak free- the only time this stuff streaked me was the first time I used it some 6 months ago- I shaved my legs about 2 hours before application and ended up with streaky legs. But, now I make sure to shave my legs the day before application, and there left bronzed and look like something out of a Gillette advert.
I'd recommend this 100 times over ST, Fake Bake or any of those tuppence tinted moisturizers!

Once again I have purchased this fantastic xen-tan lotion. when you put it on, it goes on like a thick dark tar colour, it stays like this until you shower it off. So do not be afraid of the vile look it gives you when wearing it, it is supposed to. But once showered off ---WOW it gives the best tan ever- i found this after reading certain celebs used this so I thought well a bit more expensive than the usual off the shelf ones but I will have a go. I am never going to use anything else. It is brilliant.No wonder celebs use this.

I am very pale skinned and have tried over the past few years tons of fake tans, from cheap ones like St.Moriz or Loreal to pricey ones like Fake Bake. I read alot of amazing reviews about Xen-Tan so I gave it a go.
To be honest I was a little disappointed. It came out super dark, glided on really well and smelt okay but when I washed it off five hours later you hardly noticed it at all. For some strange reason when I applied it on my shoulders and chest area, it rubbed straight off! So I ended up with a glowing face, legs & arms and pale chest and shoulder area. I don't know whether I'm doing something wrong or I got a bad batch but I was not overly impressed. Even the cheap fake tans don't do this. I think I'll stick to Fake Bake in future.
Overall, I think Xen-Tan is overpriced and I don't think I'll be buying it again.

Self tanning lotion
Easy to apply and because of the initial dark colour its easy to see were you have applied the lotion so you get a full coverage. Read more
