Bought this helmet for a 7 year old. I was price conscious but wanted a good adjustment system as a helmet without one for a child is hopeless.This seemed to fit the bill and I cant complain. Does the job fine and is easy and QUICK to adjust. The more expensive complete hard shells look better, but childs helmets have a shelf life. I can recommend it if your in the same boat as me.
