Cutting-edge design meets cutting-edge technology.

Xbox One delivers an entertainment experience like nothing before. Its innovative technology is rivaled only by its iconic design. Sharp corners and clean lines make for a sleek, modern console that complements any decor. Xbox One was designed from the ground up to be the centerpiece of every living room.

Play with peak performance.

Xbox One is the perfect balance of power and performance. In addition to Xbox One’s revolutionary architecture, the combination of its CPU, GPU, and ESRAM is like having a supercomputer in your living room. But raw power is nothing without speed. So the Xbox One uses its power more effectively, creating lightning fast experiences unlike anything you’ve had before.

8 Cores

An 8-core x86 processor lets you instantly switch between a game and your entertainment apps with ease.

HDMI Pass-Thru

Connect your cable or satellite box to your Xbox One and prepare for lift off. HDMI pass-thru enables you to watch TV through your Xbox.1

Loaded with memory

8GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive give you plenty of memory for your games, demos, movies, apps, music, and more.2

Watch movies and play games in stunning HD with a Blu-ray player.

A one-of-a-kind architecture.

Xbox One was designed with a state-of-the-art gaming OS fused together with a powerful Windows OS. So you get the best of both worlds, without compromise. Forget about having to switch inputs to watch TV or play a game. Now you can run a host of apps right alongside your game without any loss of performance.

Always ready when you are.

Xbox One wakes up instantly, so it’s always ready when you are.

Jump around.

Instantly and effortlessly jump back and forth between a game, TV, music, and apps.

Split your screen. Not your time.

Ever wish you could chat with a friend on Skype while watching the playoffs? With Snap you can do both at the same time, on the same screen.

A new generation of Xbox Live.

Unleash the power of the cloud with a new generation of Xbox Live: the network that unites every member of the Xbox community. It also connects you to thousands of games, songs, TV shows, movies and sports. More importantly, it’s a scalable source of power that will grow stronger over time. Best of all, your games and profile are stored in the cloud, so every Xbox One console behaves like your very own. And because it’s all one service, your Xbox Live Gold membership will work on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Your games keep playing, even when you’re not.

Living Games technology allows game worlds to keep going even when you’re not playing. So you never know what new things you’ll find the next time you play. And advanced artificial intelligence can learn to play like you. So when you’re not around, your friends can still play against your shadow.

Pick up right where you left off.

Want to check sports scores in the middle of a game? No problem. With auto-resume, your game is suspended right where you left off. So you can jump back instantly to the same spot. You can even start a movie or a game on one Xbox One and finish it on another.

Play without the wait.

With Xbox One, you can start playing immediately as games install. And updates install seamlessly in the background, so your games and entertainment won’t be interrupted.

Your games stay in sync with the world.

Imagine the player stats in your sports game being updated automatically based on the weekend’s results. It’s now possible with Xbox One. Thanks to the power of the cloud, game worlds stay in sync with the real world.3

Meet the all-new Kinect.

The new Kinect is more precise, responsive and intuitive. Its unparalleled voice, vision, and motion technology lets you reach into games and entertainment like never before. Automatically sign in when you enter the room. Accelerate through a game with subtle gestures. Or navigate through your favourite TV shows with the sound of your voice.

Real Vision

Kinect Real Vision technology dramatically expands its field of view for greater line of sight. An all-new active IR camera enables it to see in the dark. And using advanced 3-D geometry, it can even tell if you’re standing off balance.

Real Motion

Kinect Real Motion technology tracks even the slightest gestures. So a simple squeeze of your hand results in precise control over a game or app, whether you're standing up or sitting down.

Real Voice

Kinect Real Voice technology focuses on the sounds that matter, thanks to an all-new multi-microphone array. Advanced noise isolation lets Kinect know who to listen to, even in a crowded room. And you can use your voice to launch any Xbox One experience from anywhere in the system, so you can quickly move from one thing to another.

Unparalleled precision and comfort.

The best gaming controller just got better with over 40 technology innovations. New Impulse Triggers deliver precise fingertip feedback for more realistic experiences. Thumbsticks, D-pad and contours are streamlined for improved precision and comfort in your hands.3

All together now.

Xbox SmartGlass turns your mobile phone or tablet into a second screen that intelligently interacts with your Xbox One. Navigate with your touch screen, pinch, and tap to surf the Web on your TV. Your wireless device becomes the ideal companion to your Xbox One as it serves up extended experiences of your favourite TV shows, movies, music, games, and sports.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutly Love it 7 Feb 2014

This is the best 400 i have spent in ages, what a console and with the next update being released in the coming days its only going to get better. The amount of stuff this console can do is amazing. The games that are out for it are also decent. Skype is excellent works really well with the kinect camera etc. On of the most useful options is being able to wake up your console by just saying "xbox on" and it powers up everything at once got to love that option. I could go on to say more about this brilliant piece of kit but why not buy on for yourself and see how great it is...worth every penny.

After serious deliberation I opted for the Xbox one over the PS4. A good choice after playing with the PS4 at a friends house. I have nothing against the PS4 its is a great console. But the Xbox is more of a fit for me. TV and Gaming

But having the ability to run my Freesat box through the console and using Voice commands really is impressive. Its by no means perfect, but it will just keep improving with updates over the next few months.

It will be worth it for Titanfall alone...

5.0 out of 5 stars Xbox One: The Next Generation 27 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase
Having through every installment of the Xbox Console, I was eager to try out Microsoft next generation console.
To be honest though I was weary since I have been seeing other people having issues i.e. Update, Disc Drive, Fizzing noises etc.

But put it this way, I have switched it on and off many times, tried game discs and downloading content, and so far it has been a great experience.

The UI has been given an overhaul and although it does take some getting used to, its as innovative as it is fun to use. Note that I am in Cyprus where Xbox Live is not fully supported and not included in the list of countries being launched. Hats off to Microsoft that not only delivered on what is promised but also delivering a console that works outside the designated regions.

Ok so what did I like:
- The console is bigger but the all black finish of it makes it look like a satellite box than anything else. For all you Xbox 360 gamers, make room...your new Xbox One needs it.
- The controller looks and handles much better than the 360 controller. Once you start using it you start to wonder how you can ever go back to the 360 version.
- Pins and Apps are nice addition to the UI. Pin anything you want so that you can have quick access to it from your home page.
- Kinect, I was ironing my shirt today getting ready for work when I got bored and wanted to watch some TV. Saying "Xbox On" and then "Xbox Watch TV" does the trick, even from the other side of the apartment.
- Wide range of great apps to use.
- Games look great and handle really well on the new controller.
- Recording and uploading your own gameplay videos is easy as it is fun, but you have to remember that so that your can say "Xbox record that".

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing 4 Dec 2013

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Having been a gamer for 30 years, I was with xbox the last gen and was all set to continue with them until I heard all the ps4 stories and the horror of some games not being 1080p on xb1. I spent ages looking online at facts and figures about 1080 vs 720p and how people said BF4 looked better on ps4, and I also had no interest in Kinect. In the end I ended up with both conoles but the XB1 is the one I prefer, very impressed with the voice recognition and as for the games, they all look fantastic, ive played BF4 on both XB1 and PS4 and they both look fantastic, so all that ps4 power shouldn't matter. By contrast I found the ps4 bland and basically nothing new. Absolutely delighted with this item.
