Fun:
This is what you need to get HD if you have one of the early 360's or a core system (these systems are not HDMI enabled). This however, does not matter as the product is easy to connect and gives a great picture. The 360 is very good playing in 1080i now!

I just recently bought a 32" HD tv and was unsure to go with this cable or the VGA one. After reading many reviews I opted for the component cable and it works perfectly. The HD quality of the 360 games is amazing. I have also heard that the other third party cables dont have the proper protection so it is most likely best to go with this official microsoft one. If you are after a cable to make the transition to HD gaming this is the one to get. Gears of War and Fight night look like stunning. Cant wait for Mass Effect and Halo 3.

I bought this cable to replace the Joytech version, which was giving me a shadow/offset effect when using the 720p/1080i display modes.
The Microsoft cable produces a fantastic clear image, without the abovementioned problem. Unlike the Joytech version it doesn't come with an optical lead included, and is slightly more expensive, but the image quality is worth the extra money.
The official product definitely wins hands down in this case.
ps After originally being put off by a 7-10 day delivery time (due to shortages in the UK), I'm happy to report that Amazon had it with me inside 48 hours. Excellent service.

Component Cables
The HD Component Cable connects easily to my Panasonic TV. With my older X Box 360, it was impossible to use a HDMI Cable. So all is shiny and good.

HD Gaming for you Xbox 360

Packaging
Order received quickly but I was disappointed that in was not in Xbox packaging as pictured. I hope that the recipient does not think it is a cheaper generic product.
