If you're looking for a VGA cable to connect your Xbox 360, then you need look no further. Testing through a 15 inch Dell monitor, with both a 2D XBLA game (Castle Crashers), and with a full 3D game (Forza 2) results with both have been superb. The picture is clear and of high detail at 1024x768, and there is no evidence of ghosting, interference or artifacts; an important concern when buying non-official video cables. While I have not tested the official cable, I believe the quality of this cable to be outstanding and considering the price difference would not hesitate to recommended it.

Some points of note are that the Xbox 360 settings options allow you to change the resolution and aspect ratio, however when selecting the standard 4:3 aspect ratio games (as so far tested) are letterboxed. The Xbox 360 also allows to select "reference levels" (black levels) that can help you get a better picture through your VGA cable.

In conclusion, while buying non-official can often be haphazard, in this case an excellent product is available at a very competitive price, and comes highly recommended by this reviewer.

Wow what a great product, exactly what I needed and so much more affordable than the official version! I must admit seeing that the product had only 1 review before was a bit of a deterrent, but I thought go for it anyway. I received the product very quickly and I now have my new monitor and hi-fi hooked up with this lead to my xbox 360. Perfect picture. No reservations, buy this instead of the official one!

I bought this cable to connect the 360 to my projector. As soon as you plug it in the 360 options give you a list of available resolutions suitable for monitors and projectors with a VGA port. I was able to select 1024x768 and the picture looks stunning rendered in the projectors native format. The optical digital sound output also works perfectly :)
