This is a review of the DVD settings and audio rather than the actual anime, as I find the anime excellent but I suck at describing how good it is, it's just good so there. The problem I have is the product. The DVD box / casing says that the languages available are both English audio and Japanese audio with English subtitles. When putting the DVD's in to play it doesn't load any kind of menu, it just starts playing the episodes on a default of English audio. I've tried switching the audio mid-episode but it seems to think there is only English audio available, also it won't select the English subtitles either. Pressing 'Menu' doesn't take it to any selection screen with any options. My DVD player is actually my PS3 but I've never found this problem before with any other anime's in my collection. I've given 4 stars for the actual series and the quality of the English dub as it would not be fair to lower that rating based on what is potentially a technical flaw with the DVD.
It's not the end of the world, the English dub on this isn't that bad, I just much prefer listening to Japanese. I hope I'm just somehow being an idiot and someone will point out something I'm missing but I'm stumped as to how to hear this in Nihongo. Thoughts anyone?
