Just an update on the order, got everything together in one delivery all the cables I had ordered from Amazon. I am amazed to know that we can find everything under one website and at the best price.
The item cable in a designer bag at opening you can tell that this product cost quite a lot as the finishing is just great. I specify choose this cable as the thickness of the core was much bigger compared to the other cables on Amazon. Great built and works like a charm.

Having recently purchased this optical lead (albeit the 3mtr one) I have to say this is a superb cable for it's modest price.
When I first got my Home Theatre kit I had to source an optical lead in a hurry, the cheapest lead I could get was a belkin brand which cost £19.99, (from a well known catalouge store) as soon as I saw this lead here for £4.99 I decided to buy it and really glad I did.
The lead came promptly and well packed in a retail polythene package, it looks well made and the cable is much thicker than the Belkin lead I used previously which is reassuring, the plugin connections are not a tight fit and could easily fall out if knocked but this in fairness is not really the fault of this cable and is more about the Toslink design which is a poor design overal in terms of a secure connection.
As the price of this lead is such good value I've just ordered another!

The optical cable was as described and was delivered within 2 days. Second cable I bought I couldn't get to work, but then it would help if I had the instructions for my hifi! Would I buy again - defiantly yes.
