I have just installed this card in my rig, replacing an XFX 5670 1gb DDR5

Not played any games yet but will up date soon.

While the 260x is a huge improvement on the 5670 I'm not as bowled over by it as I though I would be......yes I know it's a budget card but still.

The large single fan is not to noisy until pushed I ran Heaven benchmark 3.0 with everything on high no AA and the fan really went to town but the slowest fps was 56 (single monitor 1440 x 900/ i3 4330 stock/ 8gb 1600 DDR3 ram)

One thing that really puzzles me is that XFX have slightly under clocked this card official AMD speeds are 1100 for the core and 1625 for the memory, but this is 1075 core 1600 memory - the core can be clocked to the official speed but the memory is fixed at 1600 I tried both AMD overdrive and MSI afterburner neither would change the memory clock.

Having said that I would still recommend this card even at the lower speed.

5* as I am a Radeon fan, since day 1, This card is a mean as they come only out done by the R9, Powerful, fast and had no problem eating away whatever I threw at it. You need a 6pin power adapter but with the newer PSU, They already come with them fitted. East to install and setup..very quiet.
Would I recommend, Oh yes.

You might want to rename the title as it is a Radeon not a NVIDIA.

Great Solid Performance!! And Nice Build Quality Too. 13 Jan 2014

I Bought this Graphics Card for $139.99 to upgrade my GTX 650 1GB and amazed by price and the performance, It runs everything on max, including Battlefield 4 on ultra at average 50 fps, the lowest i got was 25 fps which was not very often. But one thing that i didn't understand is that it didn't have a CrossfireX bridge, but than i realized that some of the R7 and R9 series didn't need that to CrossfireX, because your motherboard does it all, and was said to be better than than bridging them with the ribbon. But I highly recommend this product.

This card honestly is very good for the price it runs games like Tomb Raider every thing maxed out on 40 to 30 fps and games like Bioshock Infinite with every thing maxed out with 60 fps. If your looking to buy this card get it it is a very good card and runs beautifully.

An awesome upgrade for any Budget Gamer. 9 Mar 2014
By Joe Petit - Published on Amazon.com

This card was purchased so I could play games that my old HD 3870 just couldn't run. The 3870's were amazing cards with GDDR4 ram and a 900+mhz clock speed that it lasted me 7 years playing all the new releases even if on minimum but still very playable. The issue is a lack of ram, only 768MB. I strongly recommend that anyone purchasing a new video card buys one with at least 2GB GDDR5 so they don't have to upgrade for at least 4 years.

All in all, a great Heatsink/Cooler on top of their imhop well manufactured boards. Runs like a champ, and allows me to play Rome 2: Total War on highest setting flawlessly, I'm quite happy with it. Yes I know for another $60 I could've gotten almost twice the benchmark performance rating, but I don',t and will not ever; spend $200 or more on any computer component.

Design, price, graphics, cooling performance, all is cool. Even this was perfect BattleField4 and, if it is bundled.
But do become hot that it is it.
Great card, I love it! 7 Jun 2014

The card of course is really, really nice looking and all, but the performance is great too! Runs Minecraft everything maxed out with a 128x128 texture pack easy at 40fps. Now personally I am not a fan of Minecraft but I thought it was awesome because I could never play it on crappy Intel integrated graphics. Also just a thing to note, that piece of plastic shrouding on the top with the XFX logo on it was really easy to push down, this might have been damage in shipping or something but that doesn't matter honestly because it works great and I am not going to be man handling it any time soon.
