Brought this software a few weeks ago for the hassle free iPhone 4 movie transfer capabilities. I have not fully tested all of the options but so far the software intermittantly crashes when selecting options and the You Tube option does not work (brings up an error box stating the obvious - a transfer error). The option for software update on start is ticked but so far has not offered an update and the X-OOM website has no software update download page or online support information but just offers an email address.
I have so far made a copy of an non copyrighted film and for the time it took to do the conversion both dual core processors on my Windows 7 Intel Core2 Duo, 3 gig memory laptop were both going at 100% - not entirely sure if this is good for the laptop but may save you on your heating bills in Winter!
The iphone options you could select did not seem to be great and not sure if the resolution offered was the best for the iPhone 4.
The boxed product looks really good but inside is one CD with the program on - No manual, nothing. There is a help section in the program but it does seem to be out of date as it does not mention the iPhone 4 at all.
Looking at other reviews of X-OOM software on the internet they are on the whole not very good. I do not particularly want a over complicated program but would like a basic program that worked and had better backup and tech support than this one has.

bought this today and with in an hour of getting it completely regretted it. it said that it can convert dvd's into iPad format and all that marlarky. but in fact it does not. Becuase of copyright which is fair enough. but didnt tell me that. taking it back to the store tomorrow. waste of time

Spent ages converting loads of videos to put on my ipod only to realise it had cut off the last few minutes of almost every one (and they were only an hour long to begin with). Also wouldn't convert any you tube videos like it said it would - kept displaying an error message. Really disappointed with this product - took it back to where I bought it and got a refund, and managed to get a free program off the net which seems to be doing the job better than this one did.
