Co-written by Zak Penn, the co-screenwriter of the movie X-Men: The Last Stand, and legendary comic book writer Chris Claremont, X-Men: The Official Game immerses players in an original storyline that provides the back-story for the upcoming X-Men: The Last Stand feature film. For the first time, the game enables players to truly command the powers of popular characters from the X-Men movie universe by allowing players to assume the roles of Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Iceman as they wield and upgrade their signature powers and maneuver through unique environments designed to showcase their superhero abilities. Assisted by other X-Men characters, players will use an advanced control scheme to master and control the characters as they unleash Wolverine's combat rage, experience Nightcrawler's acrobatics and teleportation powers, and glide through the air on Iceman's ice slide.

Fun:
My boyfriend enjoyed this game, you can play as Iceman, Nightcrawler and Wolverine. Some of the harder levels became a little repetitive, but as an X-men fan he enjoyed fighting as and with his fav characters, especially Deathstrike and Galactus!

Set between X men 2 and the forthcoming final film in the X men trilogy this game will see fans of the films and comics sadly disappointed by this poor effort of a game. This is a shame as gamers had been well-served recently by both X men legends games.
You can play as one of three main characters , Wolverine, Iceman, and Nightcrawler.
The Wolverine levels are repetitve button bashing.
Iceman's levels are boring and not interesting.
Most frutsrating of all are the Nightcrawler levels. Trying to get him to teleport where you want him to go is nigh on impossible.
Avoid this game and stick to playing the X men Legends games.
