This DVD includes the episodes;
Night of The Sentinels Part 1 and 2- where the X-Men meet Jubilee for the first time,
Enter Magneto - featuring Magneto,
Deadly Reunions - featuring Sabretooth,
Captive Hearts - featuring the Morlocks,
Cold Vengeance - featuring rivalry between Wolverine and Sabretooth, and
Slave Island - featuring Cable.
I haven't put too much about the episode as I don't want to spoil them!
Easily the best cartoon ever made in my opinion! Although this series was aimed at children, so it's not as dark as the comics were in places, the animation still holds up today (a few good belly laughs at the lovely 90's fashions to boot!) If you think that you can just get season 1 as a reminder of why this series was so amazing you would be wrong, you'll soon want the whole set!

Many a purist will curse me but I have no problem with the films. However given a Desert Island Disc situation I'd choose the animated series every time. Not just because of their faithfulness to the original characters and stories that were penciled back in the 90s but because, unlike so many others of their time, the animation feels like you're watching the very same comics brought to life rather than simply watching a cartoon. The X-Men series is deeper, richer and more intelligent than most of its peers and is a respectful homage the the genre.

Really enjoyed watching these again. One of the best animated shows ever. My only complaint here is that 7 episodes isn't enough. Surely there was room for the whole season?! And the animation is a bit dated now but for fans of the X Men and marvel cartoons this is essential viewing.
