3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing - not as good as Volume 1, 14 Dec 2008
I absolutely adore the X-Men, and the Onslaught Epic was my favourite of all time. I bought this and Volume 3 thinking that it would be great to be able to see all of the cross-overs, like Spider Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Avengers, Thor etc etc etc... not just X-men. But the problem is that the story lines for Iron Man, Fantastic Four and (in particular) Spider Man are incredibly week. You shoud especially read the Spider Man story line, I don't want to spoil it for anyone who intends to read this Volume but seriously... I think between about four characters they take down like one Sentinel. It is just not that interesting, when you know that there is some seriously juicy story lines going on in the X-Men comics.. you know, Onslaught is (after all) Professor X and that is seriously interesting. I don't know, maybe it's just because I'm a hard core X Men fan but I found the cross over comics really quite dull in Volumes 2 and 3.
