This is a great book, and if you like the new X-Factor series you should like this as they are both written by Peter David, and also has half the same cast, Multiple Man (showing the beginning of his problems with his dupes), Wolfsbane (stuck in her half feral form), Strong Guy (and the origin of his name!) and Quicksilver (at his arrogant best), they are joined by Havok (being a leader for the first time), Polaris(at the heart of the team) and Val Cooper (their government contact). This collection starts with 71 but you don't really need knowledge of the previous issues as they consisted of the original X-Men who just left to rejoin the X-Men. This starts with Val Cooper trying to recruit a mutant government team. Their first big conflict is with Mr Sinister and the Nasty boys. If you're familiar with Peter David's writing you'll know he's great at getting the best out of his characters and great humour throughout the book
