My poetic ancestral journey from my Wulfrunian upbringing to The Kingdom of Fife in Scotland. Inspired by the land of my late Father, a Fifer who met my Mother in Aldershot Military Hospital in the late 1940's, married and settled in her hometown of Wolverhampton.

Raised on the Rough Hills Estate area of the town and Bennet Scottish ancestral roots are in the Kingdom of Fife, Dundee, Angus. Kennedy roots are Kirkcaldy, Fife and along that coastline. Wolverhampton family names are Owen, Williams and Rowley. The author is now residing in Codsall, Staffordshire. A Wulfrunian Way to the Kingdom of Fife, the Wolverhampton Marathon in the 1980's to the Fife Coastal Path 20 years later. From the classroom to the factory floor but never too far away from a football field. The feeling of running past the road I was raised in on the Wolverhampton Marathon, experiencing seeing the sunrise in Fife and walking over the Tay Bridge and into Dundee at 3pm after setting off from St Andrews at dawn. Both being ancestral places. The Black Country Bugle were first to print my writing in the early 1990's. Featured on websites Poetry of Scotland, Scotlands Enchanted Kingdom, Smart Community Fife and Collessie - A Beautiful Village . Writer of football odes one of which about Billy Wright, Wolves and England captain that was read out on radio and The Dependable Jody Craddock that was printed in his official retirement brochure. Author of E-books; WULFRUNIAN FOOTPRINTS in FIFE, Awa' Th' Rough Hills an' Awa', 'Ode' Gold Wolves, JOCK I'VE BEEN to HAMPDEN and KICKING AROUND CODSALL. Awa' th' Rough Hills an Awa', my childhood, youthful and young parent memories in story and ode in the Rough Hills, All Saints and Parkfields area of Wolverhampton, was first to be published as a paperback book in September 2014. In 2014, turning aged 60, I celebrated 25 years of writing.
