As an outfit who've previously always drawn comparisons to the likes of The Fall and Nick Cave, this is a very different roadtrip. While the snarling punk and giddily sardonic storytelling remains, "The Wrong Life" recalls the works of Springsteen (mangled somewhere between Nebraksa and Lucky Town), McLusky with a pokerface, 'The Idiot' era Iggy Pop and even The Eagles.
