This being marketed as an introduction is a profound error. This is advanced material, original sources with no or minimal commentary. I am very happy to own the book, but I fear newcommers will simply remain stuck in the "Zen is wierd" mindset after having read this.

A previous reviewer incorrectly mentions that this is ZEN FLESH ZEN BONES in all but name, it's not !...it misses out 80 of the zen stories from ZFZB...this is a cut down version...get the original it's a the full and complete classic.
