About the Author
Simon Morley is an artist, curator, writer and lecturer. He has published widely, and teaches at the Sotheby's Institute of Art. His paintings have been exhibited internationally.

Writing on the Wall is a great reference source for any one with an interest in art which combines the written word with a piece of art. It covers art from the first inclusion of words in images, fragments of words on objects within an image right through to pieces where the words are the image. A well researched book and a great addition to my library of art books.
