About the Author

Jane Dorner has written many books on many subjects, including Cortes and the Aztecs (Longman, 1972), People of Elizabethan England (Wayland, 1973), Manual for Fleet Street Editor (Mirrorsoft, 1988), and Writing on Disk (John Taylor Book Ventures, 1992). She has several years' experience of writing for and about the Internet, including her successful The Internet: A Writer's Guide (A & C Black, 2000; 2001). Writing for the Internet goes further, and is the result of personal
experiment and discovery.
