This is an excellent short workmanlike guide to any form of creative writing, not just historical fiction, although it gives particular attention to the special aspects of the genre. Written by an experienced teacher with 50 titles to her credit.

This is a well written book that deals with the craft of wriring historical fiction. From what I have read so far, I believe that this will be an asset to my work.
